Saying Yes to Self: Intuition, Boundaries, and Energetic Healing with Rachel Milne

How Intuition Guides the Boundaries That Set You Free

🎙️ Show Notes

In this episode of Goddess in Training, I’m joined by Rachel Milne, a holistic intuitive health coach whose story is a testament to the quiet, powerful practice of saying yes—to healing, to growth, and to living from intuition.

We explore how intuition and boundaries are deeply intertwined—not opposing forces, but companions in navigating a life that honors your truth. Rachel shares how she reclaimed her intuitive voice after years of silencing it, how she learned to trust what she knew without needing proof, and why she believes every boundary set from love opens the door to deeper connection.

You’ll hear us talk about:

  • Rachel’s journey from burnout and people-pleasing to empowered living

  • Why setting boundaries is actually an act of love (not separation)

  • How to tell the difference between fear-based and love-based boundaries

  • What it means to feel your way into decisions instead of rationalizing them

  • Practices to reconnect to your inner YES

  • How to build a life—and even a business—without relying on social media

  • The energetic tools Rachel uses in her healing practice

  • And why your brilliant light is needed now more than ever

When Rachel Milne and I sat down for this conversation, I knew we were going to talk about boundaries. What I didn’t expect was how expansive the conversation would become. What started as a discussion about energetic protection, people-pleasing, and the messy art of saying no, unfolded into something so much more tender: an invitation to say YES—to our bodies, to rest, to clarity, to mystery, to change.

Rachel’s presence is grounded and luminous. She speaks from lived experience, not theory—from deep emotional work, spiritual discipline, and radical honesty. And as you’ll hear, she doesn’t teach from a pedestal. She teaches from practice. From being willing to be vulnerable. From choosing again and again to follow the quiet voice within.

We talk about parenting teenagers, the limits of logic, the energetic frequency of being a “doormat,” and the cultural expectations that ask women to exclude themselves from their own lives. She shares a beautiful framework for understanding intuition and boundaries not as rules or walls, but as natural extensions of inner alignment. I love her metaphor of boundaries as training wheels—supportive at first, but ultimately unnecessary once you're flowing with your own knowing.

This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt heavy with obligation, confused by their own “no,” or afraid to take up space. It’s also for anyone who’s learning, one decision at a time, to live from intuition.

I’m still sitting with the ripples of this conversation—and I hope it leaves you with the same spaciousness and clarity.

So...
What are you saying yes to today?

With love,
Sarah
